Blanche De Flagstaff
DESCRIPTION
Our second Collaboration with Mother Road in Flagstaff, Blanch de Flagstaff is our modern take on a classic, wholly underrated beer style. Leuven-style witbier is a rustic, traditional style that dates back to the mid 1800s, when "White Beer" in Belgium meant something entirely different than what we see in bottles today. It is tart from a lactobacillus fermentation and slightly spicy, with a soft cereal graininess that balances nicely. The beer is delicate and supremely refreshing.
PAIRINGS
Try it with rustic bread and goat cheese, maybe with a poached egg if you're into it.
