Whetstone Wheat—named after the Whetstone Mountains in Southern Arizona—is our version of traditional German-style Hefeweizen. It is Pale, slightly hazy, and very refreshing. It is built on a base of Pilsner pilsner malt, with malted and raw local wheat for support, with just a dash of hop character from both Cascade and Hallterau hops for balance. The traditional Bavarian yeast strain we chose provides a distinctive banana and clove character. Pair it with beet and goat cheese salad, brats mit kraut, or a sportsmatch game featuring your favorite teamsters.
